There was a man left with his son for a city about two days
distance, put their belongings on the back of a donkey and off they go.
The man kept saying on the way:
What Allah has prevented of happening to us was much worse
While they were walking, the donkey leg broke.
The man said: What Allah has prevented of happening
to us could have been much worse!! Then each
one carried his stuff on his back and continued
on their way. Then, the man foot broke, so he was
dragging his leg while walking and could not carry a thing.
He said again: What Allah has prevented of happening to
us could have been much worse!!
The son carried all the stuff on his back
and went on their way. Later on, a snake bit
the son and he fell to the ground in pain.
The man said: What Allah has prevented
of happening to us could have been much worse
Here, the son got angry and said to his father:
what could be much worse than what already happened to us
Once the son has recovered, they were back
again on their way. When arrived their destination
they saw the city was badly hit by earthquake that
exterminated the whole of it .
The man looked at his
son and said: see my son, if it was not for what happened
to us all the way, we would have arrived on that day
when the worse (earthquake) took a place and we would have been
among those who perished
و هنا الترجمه
يحكى عن رجل خرج في سفر مع ابنه إلى مدينة تبعد قرابة اليومين،
وكان معهما حمارهما وضعا عليه أمتعتهم .
كان الرجل يردد طول الطريق : ما حجبه الله عنا كان أعظم!!
وبينما هما يسيران في الطريق ؛ كُسرت ساق الحمار فقال الرجل : ما حجبه الله عنا كان أعظم!!
فأخذ كل منهما حاملا متاعه على ظهره ومضى في طريقهما .
وبينما هما في الطريق ، كُسرت قدم الرجل ، فأصبح الرجل يمشي يجر رجله
جرًّا ولا يقدر على حمل أي شيء، ويقول : ما حجبه الله عنا كان أعظم !!
حمل الابن متاعه ومتاع أبيه على ظهره وانطلقا يكملان طريقهما .
وفي الطريق لدغت أفعى الابن ، فوقع على الأرض من الألم
فعاد الرجل يقول : ما حجبه اللهعنا كان أعظم!!
هنا غضب الابن وقال لأبيه: وهل هناك ما هو أعظم مما أصابنا ؟؟؟
وبعد أن شفي الابن أكملا السيرفي طريقهما ثانية .
وعندما وصلا المدينة ، فإذا بها قد ضربها زلزال بقوة أباد كل مافيها .
عندها نظر الرجل لولده وقال له: انظر يا بني
لو لم يُصبنا ما أصابنا في رحلتنا لكنا وصلنا في ذاك اليوم لأصابنا ما هو أعظم
وكنا مع ممن هلك..
